Etwas, das jeden Fotografen beunruhigen kann wenn man ein Fotoshooting in der Natur macht, ist das Wetter. Man will auf keinen Fall, dass das Shooting wegen Regen verkürzt oder ganz ins Wasser fallen muss. Diese Woche hatten wir hier ziemlich stürmisches Wetter. Glücklicherweise haben wir heute den Regen um eine halbe Stunde verpasst, da pünktlich zum Shooting die Sonne rauskam. Die Location für das heutige Shooting war das Ufer des Rheins in Neuwied. Eine kleiner, ruhiger Ort, aber passend für Portraitbilder. Ich persönlich finde solche Orte am besten, da sie, obwohl sie klein und unscheinbar sind, Bilder zum Leben erwecken können. Außerdem sind sie eine gute Wahl weil es weniger Leute gibt die das Shooting unterbrechen und die Fotografierten sich nicht beobachtet fühlen. Das heutige Shooting fand ich entspannend und hat viel Spaß gemacht!
Something that can worry a photographer when shooting on an outdoor location is the weather. You definitely don’t want the rain to cut short your shoot, let alone, cancel one all together. This week here, we’ve been having quite stormy weather, off and on. Luckily, today, we had just missed the rain by half hour when the sun began to break out the clouds. Today’s shoot was set by the Rhein in Neuweid; a small, quaint location, but just as beautiful and effective. I feel that these kind of places work well for portraiture because, although only acting as a background, it can give the image life and a sense of environment. It’s also a good option to shoot in these quiet spots so the session can go a lot smoother without interruptions, or on watchers which lets those being photographed feel more relaxed and at ease. I found this shoot to be extremely fun and relaxed. It was a pleasure to photograph you!
